Engineering for You Video Contest 2 (E4U2)

The National Academy of Engineering has outlined 14 game-changing opportunities for the 21st century called the Grand Challenges for Engineering. We want you to review NAE’s 14 Grand Challenges for Engineering, then create and submit a 1 to 2 minute video that shows how achieving one or more of the NAE Grand Challenges for Engineering will lead to a more sustainable, healthy, secure, and/or joyous world!

EngineerGirl Essay Contest

The National Academy of Engineering’s annual EngineerGirl Essay Contest asks students in grades 3-12 to write about the role of engineering in society. This year’s contest asks students to write an essay that highlights the role of engineering in sports.

Students can win prizes of up to $500 in each of three age categories.  Submit your entry by March 1, 2015 for your chance to win!

Mark your calendars for November 10-21, 2014.

Show your school pride by participating in competitions at lunch. Watch for the door decorating contest and see where your favorite teachers attended school.

Seniors will be able to apply for college on November 19, 20, 21, or 24, during English class.

New Student Appointments Now Being Scheduled!

New Student Appointments can be scheduled any day between August 11th and August 19th between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM. Click on “Registration” for a list of required items to bring to your new student appointment. You can schedule your appointment by calling the Counseling Center beginning August 4th at 801-256-5320.

Counselors are available beginning August 8th through August 19th for necessary schedule adjustments. Please call or email your counselor before dropping in as counselors have appointments on these days.

ALL SCHEDULE CHANGES NEED TO BE COMPLETED BY AUGUST 19th. THERE WILL BE NO NONESSENTIAL SCHEDULE CHANGES ONCE SCHOOL STARTS.
